You know why the world is that way? Because YOU are that way. When you resonate on a higher frequency, a love frequency, you cease to tune into that station. You no longer perceive that reality. You are not "sticking your head in teh sand as it were." In fact, you are doing the opposite, you are raising your head into the heavens. Your body, still on earth, then can manifest the heavenly. If one were to engage the darkness, employing darkness as a tool, one would then be "sticking one's head in the sand." The goal is not to become mired in the darkest possibilities of this place, but to play and to shine the light of love here.
This is the why behind using mantras, colors, sounds etc., one tunes into and radiates a given frequency in order to play/manifest on that level. Some hear all of this on an artistic or story-based level and thus come through religion, devotion and faith. Some hear these truths on an analytical or deductive-reasoning level, and thus come through mathematical or scientific inquiry. The Truth is the Truth. Perception and seekign depends on you.

Change your self and the world will change. When we all change... when we are become what we really are, then... bliss.
