The Wish-Fulfilling Gem

Exalted mystic union is indeed a wish-fulfilling gem.* Mysterious in that Father and Mother are one, though separate, and are joined after seeking. That they should meet at all, in this vast place, is a great miracle. Theirs is the union of spiritual and carnal, mental and emotional, male and female, yielding life. It is a gem of wish fulfillment in that the union is itself a tangible manifestation of what each partner seeks. It allows attainment of every sweet thing, every sought thing, every thirst and brings to bear the full expression of the Creator's desire. This Creator's desire is the root of their becoming; it is a desire both raw and sexual as well as cerebral and methodical... physical and metaphysical. In exalted mystic union the apparent disparity between sexuality and God is resolved. These are not mutually exclusive pursuits. The desire for knowing God purifies sexuality and raises it to its highest purpose.
To be found by my other half is... more than can be expressed in words. There is a completion, a knowing, a being known. There is a seeking, a surrender and a being shown. This is a path of great self-sacrifice, to join with another beyond one's own flesh. But in that merging the flesh dissolves, the barriers dissolve entirely. We are one. Before everything desired can be given - poured into the chalice, everything must first be emptied. I give all unto Him... as is the calling of a Shakti, a Radha, a Mary, an Isis. There is no time or place where I am apart from my Beloved, no where His loving presence does not permeate and reach. And there is no limit to my devotion. Our love is inexhaustible. We are one - all wishes fulfilled.
