On Belief in God... and Man

We've relinquished the belief in God as if it's an antiquated cultural artifact no longer relevant to us in "modern" times. But if we don't believe in God how can we believe in man? If there is no all pervading order which governs creation, what hope do we have for humanity's ascension? What would there be to aspire to?
Knowing there is a definite order to the unfolding of this precious life allows us to get in step. The "order" itself allows us to perceive it and become one with it. We call it by different names - religious, scientific and so on. The underlying Truth is that humanity's hope rests on our ability to know the Creator and know ourselves in relation. If there is no Creator, no plan, no ideal then man is destined to plateau according to his own devices and the limits of his own mental, emotional and physical capacities. But religion... Truth... continues to shimmer with iridescent possibility, with indefatigable and miraculous grace beyond our understanding. The Truth of "God" reminds us that we are never limited by individual circumstance. We are never powerless when we acknowledge the endless reservoir of will and energy contained in the momentum of causal desire's spiral. It is a force which can propel the believer... the knower... to climaxic fulfillment of purpose.

Knowing that there is an ideal helps us to strive forward. Knowing there is a loving, passion-filled spark at the center of it all helps us to wield that love ourselves. We can aspire to righteousness, goodness and love because these are the heart of God's body, we are the hands... reaching, building, serving the plan.
Manhood... Rights.
We tend to doubt God because of the existence of suffering. In this we overlook the trees which make up the forest. We would benefit, I think, by looking to man to cease suffering. What we need now is not to prove '"God" exists, but to prove that "man" does. Men either carry out the divine plan or strive against order and truth. Peace is dependent on manhood.
What is true, epitomized manhood? Through deliberate cultivation it is compassionate, wise, self-mastered and responsible. Leading through love, manhood - as it is meant to be expressed - is wholly salvific.
