The Pearl of Attainment
|
God is love. Polytheistic religions and religions which speak of an "inaccessible Father God" fall short of their ideal purpose... to raise humanity to its zenith. If God is love and we continue to accept intermediaries between us and God as worshippable, then we would never know the full depth of God's love. When God remains inaccessible we suffer by means of an artificial barrier between ourselves and the Creator which perpetuates powerlessness and apathy. In both cases, we preclude ourselves from experiencing and manifesting Divine unconditional love because such love is always seen as just out of reach.
Humanity has endeavored to mediate the perceived dichotomy between knowing "God" and knowing "thyself." Christ is our bridge across this apparent division. Those religions which most fully embody the Truth eclipse those in which remnants of falsehood remain. One who believes God is inaccessible, by distance or by proxy, can never cultivate himself to love’s self-mastered epitome nor raise the world to its golden age. |
No longer is the temple acceptable as sole location of divine Truth. The experience of this knowing is not a thing monopolized by priestly mediators nor is it altogether unreachable. It is the pearl of earthly attainment... the birthright of us all.
God is love and all creation is His kingdom. He is above us and within us. To know God, we give Him a dwelling place in our homes and in our very selves. We are the temple. In exalted mystic union His throne is raised and His rightful, loving reign is assured. In humility let us serve as love's footstool for the sake of our world's flowering at His masterful touch.

Gratitude and adoration to my Beloved Sun for gracing me with true agape.
