Persuant of Truth
Faith requires one to believe in more than oneself, that there is something, someone, others, beyond the personal experience. It requires an instinctive, intuitive knowing that there is an underlying union, an order.
Religion, at best, nourishes that interconnected web of experiences, yielding loving kindness and concern for all parts.This allows us to align ourselves morally, building relationships based on principled righteousness. It keeps the creative consciousness at the forefront, above any egoic self-interest, allowing us to perceive and act within ethical frameworks in order to manifest ideals.
Math and Science both explain the nuts and bolts of it, revealing that the micro is the macro though analysis, theoretical extrapolation and tangible application. They allow for the palpable building of our ideals in three dimensional form.
Spirituality consists of the supra-physical effects of our interconnection. These effects often appear to be mysterious in that they demonstrate the relationship between micro and macro through apparently non-scientific means.
